What Are The Adverse Effects Of Discontinuing Thyroid Medicines?

Hi i am 28 year old suffering from Hyperthyroid from last 3 to 4 years and maximum m facing problem on palpitation & Low HB level(8.2) now my TSH is 0.01,T4 11.2 & T3 is 167. I was discontinue the Med from last 7 month now from last month again m taking neocarbamazole 20 mg but not imrpoving anything.again m loss my weight 3 kg from last month.kindly help me.

Hello,

The hormonal results you reported is suggestive for hyperthyroidism that persists still, despite the treatment. You need to increase the dose of carbimazole as your physician will suggest.
