Hi, i am 21y, Male Undergrad student. 172 cm, 84kg with substantial abdominal fat. I've been overweight since last 10 years. I was underweight and hyperactive child (used to swim and play Football regularly). I had a surgery for dislocated Right Hand Index Finger. I was fed pediasure for 2 years even though i wasn't lactose intolerant.
I never ate excessively as my appetite is normally low. My regular diet includes
Breakfast - 2 piece bread, 25g butter, Coffee
Lunch - 2 Roti, Vegetable, Curd, Green salad
Snacks - Coffee, some minor bread item
Dinner - 2 Roti, Vegetable or Chicken 50-70g (alternate days)
Exercise - Walking 5-10 km per day for commuting, Climbing 7 stories daily twice. Jogging Running and Skipping 3-5hr/week
Still i fail to lose weight. Constant weight +- 5kg for 1 year. I am a Bio-Sciences student, I'm well aware of side effects of Weight loss pills and am not interested unless absolutely required. Sleep - 5.5-6hrs/day
Glucose level 102
Cholesterol level LDL, VLDL just
below normal level
Can my Weight Gain be attributed to use of Pediasure, causing low metabolism? Please help suggesting any life style changes for weight loss (long term). Quick Fix not preferred.
