Exam:-     MRI Knee Rt
Clinical Information:
Twisting injury, pain and instability.

Findings:
There is a small quantity of knee joint fluid. There is a small patellar partial-thickness cartilage fissure at the mid groove. Trochlear cartilage, patellofemoral alignment, the retinacula and the quadriceps and patellar tendon are intact.

The cruciates are intact. No meniscal tears.

There has been previous intermediate to high grade proximal partial tear of the medial collateral ligament. There is a little persisting ligamentous oedema. The lateral collateral complex is intact.
Tibiofemoral weightbearing cartilage is preserved.

Summary:
Partial-thickness cartilage fissure at the mid patellar ridge, with potential for flap formation.
Previous intermediate to high grade proximal partial tear of the medial collateral ligament, with persisting oedema. Additional findings as described.
