Hi greetings, I was Diagnosed with pleural effusion in March 2015 and I have been on medication since then till mid June I was taking my medication properly and I wasn't smoking but from mid-June I've been smoking and my medications got disturbed after which I made sure that I'm taking my medicines properly but I did not quit smoking and now I feel little bit pain exactly on the area of lungs that was diagnosed with pleural effusion. I would like to know that if this is a serious problem I am continuing with my medications should I quit smoking? What would you suggest?also. There is a sudden cough that i experience from time to time
