Hi,
My 10 year old son fell at home yesterday (on carpet) and hit the right side of his head on the floor. He seemed fine other than seeing red in his peripheral vision. Still I took him to ER to get him checked, they said is was not neurological then sent me to our local eye doctor. They preformed lots of testing and reported to me the optic nerve was intacted and everything looks great. But they do not know why he is seeing red. Today my son tells me now he sees red all over not just his outer vision. My question to you is should I take him to a speacialiist or will this go away on its on?? They doctor did not seemed concerned about so I just dont want to overreact.
