Hi, Last Night I Hurt My Ankle During A Tae

Last night I hurt my ankle during a Tae Kwon Do class. It hurt very bad last night. I put ice on it and elevated it.
When I woke up this morning it felt fine. This afternoon it started hurting a little bit, but now the pain is very bad again. Is this 'normal' for a sprain?
