Hi, I'm A 60 Year Old Female Who Had A

Hi, I'm a 60 year old female who had a type 1 DKA episode after a stomach virus and spent a week in the hospital. When the paramedics brought me to the ER my heart was beating very fast. At the time I was not being treated for high blood pressure, but while in ICU I was put on 5mg of lisinopril and 12.5 mg of metoprolol tartrate 2x a day. I've been home from hospital for a month and feel fine except for the awful side effects of the metoprolol such as insomnia, itchiness on my back, exhaustion, and feeling cold. I want to wean off this medication. I need to sleep at night! Please advise. Thank-you, Patti A.
