Hi, I’m 42 Normally Heathy Single Mother Of A Toddler

Hi, I’m 42 normally heathy single mother of a toddler and a teenager. I was walking in the park 3 days ago with my child on my hip and fell over in a deep pot hole and rolled my ankle very very bad, my foot was numb and I couldn’t move it and I had immediate swelling, a few minutes later I could move my toes, so I slowly walked back to my car, drove home, iced an elevated it straight away and did that for the next 48hrs whenever I could.
My foot and ankle are very very swollen and bruised but I can walk slowly on it but tonight I have been feeling really dizzy and nauseous and even with rest it doesn’t go away, is this a normal reaction for the body caused from the pain or should I go to the emergency room? I didn’t go there when this happened so I haven’t had an X-ray or had any medical professional evaluate my injury.
Please give me some much needed advice
