Hi,
Im 22 years old. I do have a history of hormonal imbalance for almost 9 years now. I was 11 when I had my first menstrual period and since then I always have heavy period and would last for a week or so and I do suffer from dysmenorrhea. I was then 14 when I was first confined at the hospital for my condition , I was diagnose of having anemia because my period lasted for months, I undergone blood transfusion and my doctor told me hormonal imbalance is normal at my age since my body is still adjusting to puberty stage. Then, my second admission was when I was 17 years old, again the same problem, bleeding for months the doctor then told me that if my condition would still be the same after I reach 18 years old then there could be a more serious problem. I was relieved for 3 years of not having the same problem again but on August of 2014 I had a sever bleeding for a month and so this time on September 3,2014 I had my D&C operation . I was diagnose of having a polyp and a thick lining of the uterus. Sfter that operation they gave me QLAIRA pills to take for 6 months. It was all good ..but not until it went back again June 2015 - I bleed for a month or so then I went to my obgyne then he asked me to take the QLAIRA pills again. My menstraul period was then back to normal for 6 months of taking the pills but the last pill I took was on December 31,2015. I married last December 12, 2015 and on January- February 2016 - I missed my period and I thought I might be pregnant but when we checked it ,its negative , also tried serum pregtest to be sure but still negative. We went to our OB and he said it might be because I just stop taking the pills. He said to wait until next month. On March 28 my menstraul period came back and its still continuing up until now. I am now worried about my situation and Im losing hope to see anymore doctors since I think we have taken every steps to heal me but no success. It just keeps on coming back. I dont know what else can I do. Please advice. Your response would be of great help. Thank you.
