How Should A Lump In The Lower Part Of My Neck Be Treated?
Hi I went to the doctors yesterday as I noticed hi had a lump/mass in the lower part of my neck. When I swallow it moves up and down when I swallow he said it soft and movable but feels hard to me. I’m really worried I have thyroid cancer lease help

The lump that moves with swallowing is usually thyroid. Since the Doctor told that the lump is soft and movable, it is not possible for it to be cancerous as seen in most cases.
The most important thing is investigations which are ultrasound of the neck, FNAC of the mass, and thyroid function tests. All these will confirm the nature of the lump to be sure about it and not to have unnecessary anxiety.
