Hi, I was wondering if flat feet can cause long term knee issues? When I was thirteen I was given arch supprt inserts to create an arch for my feet since I was told that I literally had no arch in my feet since I was born. Before having them my ankels would roll inward almost twisting the shin bone and would sometimes cause my knees to suddenly give out on me when I was walking. It would sometimes also have a snapping sound, like cracking knuckles, before I would fall. To this day I still sometimes have them crack but not give out however they do still hurt on occasion after walking for a while. Could the time not having the supports done long term damage to my knees? Thanks! --Samantha
