Hi I was just diagnosed with internal shingles after 3 and 1/2 months of pain. I have had 2 catscans and a nuclear bone scan. I went to a neurologist for a diagnosis of Carole tunnel and told her my saga of pain. She said it sounds like internal shingles I had a zostavax shot in May of 2009. Help the pain is mid back and wraps around to under the right breast. It also travels up on that side from the back to the shoulders neck and head. She prescribed lyrica.
