Hi, I was in a major car crash less than 4 weeks ago, was on trauma, cardiac and neurosurgical floor for over 3 weeks, and have a carotid artery dissection rupture(witch was fixed), aorta dissection and 2 vertebral artery dissection that I still have. I also have 3 pulmonary embolism, yes crazy, I have Lupus SLE, and I would like to fly home to visit my family... but it would be a long flight....I am on xarelto, blood thinners... and have my nitro..... Do you think I can fly now... or wait until I speak to my neurovascular surgeons^I am used to being sick... had 45 surgeries in the past 5 years,,, cancer... heart.... anyways.... does artery dissections stop you from flying..... my family doctor is really worried about these vertebral arteries dissections..... but I do wish to see my family.... what to do....
