Hi, I want to inquire about Diane-35 that is well know for contraception capability and also anti-acne treatment. I've read from the instructions that I should wait for my period before I start taking the pills. I just want to know what will be the side effects if I take the pills while my period has not yet commenced? And will it still give me the contraceptive advantage if I take it before my period?

Fact: My normal cycle doesn't fall on the 28-day period, sometimes I get delayed by 2 weeks due to some hereditary reasons and also stress from work.
