Hi I took risperdal from 2004 to 2011 and suffered from continuous erectile dysfunction. I got erection back after discontinuation of risperdal though it was not that powerful as it used to be before. Since past one and a half year I am again taking risperdal and suffering from erectile dysfunction again. I have never taken any treatment for erectile dysfunction in the hope that once I stop taking risperdal the erection will return. Please guide that is it ok to leave erectile dysfunction on such long term basis? or should I take any treatment for erectile dysfunction while taking risperdal at the same time, if yes what treatment should I take? I do exercise on regular basis.
