Hi,

I need advice as I think I could possibly be pregnant.

I am 28 years old, relatively healthy and had a clear PAP/Smear Test earlier this year.

I have been on birth control since May and to my knowledge I don't think I have missed any, I don't take it at the same time but I do take it every day. It is worth pointing out that during the last day of my period 20/11 I had a migraine which caused me to vomit, I had taken a pill a short time before but I don't think this was absorbed and I didn't take another pill until the following morning.

I have a regular cycle around 30 days and would have expected my period around 16/12, as of yet this has still not arrived.

Unfortunately I do not know my exact ovulation date, I can only hazard a guess at the beginning of Decemcer and I slept with my partner on 6/12 a few days after I believe I ovulated.

On 18/12 I noticed my breasts were sore and I felt a little nauseous, this would have been around the time of my period so the soreness didn't bother me too much as this is a normal PMS symptom, the nausea did bother me a little and is still there now.

I took a pregnancy test 20/12 which was negative I took a second test today 28/12 also negative.

Aside from a tiny amount of blood tinged discharge while wiping on 22/12 there seems to be no sign of my period arriving.

I still have the sore boobs, nausea, wind, tiredness and a strange sensation in my lower abdomen, almost like cramps, but very mild and not like the cramps I usually get leading up to my period.

My January period is due the second week, is it best to just hold out to see if it arrives or should I test again in a few days time?
