Hi. I injured my foot 1.5 years ago, by accidentally dropping a laptop computer on the top of my foot. My great toe was mostly affected. i t was sore and bruised. So i kept it taped to the other toes for quite some time. Six months surpassed, and all of a sudden it was burning towards the ball of that foot. So the physician that I was working for insisting that I needed an x-ray. I did so. Results just indicated a 3x3cm mass. But because it was so large, it wasn't known if the toe itself had ever been broken. So another 6 months passed, and my primary took one look at it during my physical, and then sent me to a podiatrist. He thought it might be a ganglion cyst. Attempted to aspirate it. No fluid came out. Only blood. An MRI was ordered. They suspected that it could be a possible sarcoma. MRI results revealed that it wasnt. Instead they think it was a ganglion cyst and want to surgically remove it. Would a Ganglion bruise and be hard?
