Hi I have a question. I stepped on a needle at the beach and even though they say it's low transmission I am worried. I did regular HIV tests out to 5 months and came back negative and then after 6 months I did a HIV rna rest. I have terrible symptoms ever since then about 2 weeks later. Body feels hot but no fever, swollen lymphnodes, lost 30 pounds, fatigue and just overall feel crappy everyday. I tested positive for Epstein Barr twice already that's all they can find even after 6 months. Someone help! Can it be that the HIV is delayed in showing results because of the Epstein Barr?
