Hi. I have a persistent and very scratchy throat. I also have the feeling that I have something stuck in my throat (particularly on the right side of my neck). My tongue also has a tingling sensation near the back of my mouth sometimes. It is not difficult for me to eat, talk, or breath. But, my chest hurts sometimes when I try to take a deep breath. I was just diagnosed with thyroid nodules and having an over active thyroid. Could my thyroid issues be the cause of my symptoms and what, if anything, can I do to get rid of the full feeling in my throat and to ease the scratchiness of my throat?
