Hi. I have a cold and have bleeding in my eye. I think the bleeding is a Subconjunctival hemorrhage due to my hard coughing and sneezing, but I just wanting to make sure that it's nothing to worry about. My eyes were all encrusted and had some mucus in the lower eyelids for a couple days when I first noticed the bleeding. The discharge stopped though, but the blood in my eyes spread and got a lot worse. At first it was just a couple red spots under the upper eyelids, but now the white part nearest my nose is all red and it even reached the iris in one eye. I was taken some NightQuil/DayQuil and Mucinex. Do you think that made the blood vessels fragile and more susceptible to the hemorrhaging? I stopped taking the meds now, but the redness still got worse. My eyes are a little sore, but they don't hurt at all or anything and so I'm not too concerned.
