Hi. I have a 24 year old daughter who up yo 2 years ago has always been slim. In her late teen and early twenties she was still a size eight or ten. Even her wedding dress that came from America was a 6 and was loose in places. She married two and a half years ago and went onto a contraception that was inserted into her arm. Not sure what it is called. Anyway I went to see her recently as she lives across the other side of the country and she has put on so much weight. Her neck is so thick and hands
are puffy. Her whole body has just blown up. I was wondering if this contraception would be the cause or could there be another reason. There is no obesity in the family or history. I am 52 and 74 kg and have a desk job but before 50 I was always around the 63kg or less after having 5 children and had a very active job. My daughter is a vet nurse so is busy all day and I have not seen a change in the way she eats. I'm afraid her husband does not think there is anything wrong but as her mother I know this is not right.
