Hi
I gone through urgent care, doctor visits and still no end to a problem I'm trying to get rid of. No one knows what it is yet and it's been over a month. Started with my tongue tasting 'peppery' and coated. Then whole mouth and sinus burning like fire and my face swelling up like a balloon with rash and welts(typical allergic reaction to something). I also felt like I had a bad virus. Temp went to 95 and I was treated with 2 rounds of predisone, then a special mouth wash from a compound pharmacy. The swelling on my face went down, but nothing else has changed. I was in bed exhausted for almost 2 weeks. I STILL have the burning in my mouth and exhausted. Doctor wanted follow up to an Allergist, which I've done before without much success. I don't have an infection in my mouth/teeth. I'm at my wits end and have great concern about my health and immune system. I work 9 hours a day and can't miss anymore work, I am 68, female. What can you suggest. Thanks for your help.
