Hi! I am trying to figure out what antibiotics to use for an inflammation that seems to have started in the fallopian tube......I took Cipro and Clindamycin together, but only for about 4 days. Pain subsided significantly but then returned about five-six days later. I am an RN myself with 30 years of experience and don't go to doctors easily. plus I asked for a GYN consult and cannot get one for the next 2 months. Even if I go to a walk-in clinic....they wouldn't know that its not anything else. I know more or less that's what I think it is as I can feel the swelling inside and its painful (lower abdomen, one side).
Anyway, just was trying to see if I should repeat the same regimen or try something else.
