Hi, I am in my late 30s, and I have a kind of blister on my butt. It started out a little bit raised, with a bit of a bumpy texture to it. It was a bit itchy if I touched it, but it never hurt. I have used cortizone cream and it has reduced and turned to raw/new skin. There was never any puss/discharge. I looked up the symptoms of herpes, but I have never had any tingling, burning, flu-like symptoms, soreness etc. And I haven't been sexually active for almost two years. The day before the bump appeared, I wore panties that squeezed my butt in that area while I was sitting for a long period of time. Could that be the cause? Is it an infection? I'm concerned, and I would like to prevent it from happening again.
