Hi, I am from India, And I love street dogs. I was bitten by a street puppy for which I got 5 doses of rabipur in 2008, then i was bitten again by a 4-5yrs old street dog because i accidentally made him feel that i was going to harm him and for that i got another 5 doses of rabipur in jan 2016. After that i got recently scratched by a tooth of a vaccinated german shepherd who is 8yrs old and his family does not let him out so he is also not in contact with any other dog. Even the wound was has blacked out and almost faded and there is no itchiness or pain on it. But after four weeks i got fever and throat infection, so im worried and wanted to know if im on the safer side. how many days does a full course of rabipur give immunity?
