Hi, I Am An On-call RN For Folks With Multiple

Hi, I am an on-call RN for folks with multiple disabilities. One of my patients hs CP, MR, HTN, Thrombocytopenia (among a host of other DX), of lat I've been having calls. each a.m prior to 7am meds that this young ladies HR is below 60BPM She is prescribed Diovan 160mg QAM. Should I be instructing the staff to hold the Diovan? I have generally be asking them to repeat the HR in 30 minutes and if above 50 to give the med. Am I doing the right thing?
