Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am a 38 year old female. I am generally in good health and eat mostly organic food and I stay away from processed food. I had a back injury back in 2011...in my mid thoracic spine. About the T7 or a little lower in area. I have constant pain in my thoracic spine. About the bra line area. I also have bulging discs in cervical area as well as in lumbar spine. I see a really good Indian Dr . from the Milwaukee, Wi area. I travel about 4 hrs to see him. I have spondylosis which is nearly disabling. I went from running and speed walking to not being able to hardly move. I am having issues at the moment of bending and walking. The pain in my legs feels like someone is ripping my skin off the muscles. I also have a really weird electric feeling that runs up and down my spine at times, and even in my butt area. It's in the top of my thighs and has traveled around to the back and in my knees and hip area. Both legs. Sometimes in my left foot. I also am having a hard time urinating. I know I have to go but I'm not emptying a lot or what I am used to. My low back hurts and just recently had my nerves burned on the left side but I notice most of my pain on the right side of my back. And this excruciating pain in my legs that is unbearable. I take Percocet 7 mg with 325 Tylenol. and also 25 mcg of fentanyl patch to be changed every 72 hrs. I am not getting any relief which is strange cause I should be feeling relief but I am in so much pain I could cry. Not sure what is going on. Don't want to call and bother my dr. who is too far from me and we just had a ton of snow and I am really far from an er room. I don't want to just go in if I have a pinched nerve or something. At night when laying down my pain is unreal. Terrible. Especially in legs , knee and hip area. Deep pain. Shearing and ripping sensation. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much. Happy new year! Especially, ginger L Peoples
