How Are Ulcers In The Throat Treated?

Hi, I am a 25 year old female from Michigan, US. I have been diagnosed with GERD and a hiatal hernia. I have 1 tonsil and last year I had an ulcer in my throat. I currently believe to have another one on the opposite side. This one looks like an ulcer but surrounded by little blisters. I would like to know why I am getting them and how to prevent them. I am prescribed omeprazole 20mg 1qd, amphetamine salt combo 20mg bid and junel FE. Thank you for your time.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to a sore throat.

For that continue Betadine gargles.

Take tablet pantoprazole after consultation.

Avoid hot and spicy foods.

You can apply glycerin locally.

Keep your self hydrated. Take a balanced diet.

You may require multivitamin tablets after consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
