Hi I am 16 years old and my girlfriend and I have been having intercourse for the past year and a half, our parents do not know and we'd like to keep it that way. However in the first year she was on birth control and even then I never climaxed inside of her and most of the time still wore a condom, typically whenever it was time for her period we always got nervous but she eventually always got it. However the past 6 months she has not been on birth control, but since she went off it, we've used condoms every single time and examined them after to make sure. Often times we'd find stuff on the outside however I don't believe it was ever mine, we have never found a tear and always put the condom on before penetrating. This month her period is late and we are both terrified, she was supposed to get it 11 days ago and has yet to get it however during this whole time and even now she feels what she would call "periody", she just has yet to bleed. Lately she has been stressed about school and also going on vacation which she is on now but seems to be having a good time of course other than thinking about why she hasn't gotten her period. Looking into this online I've found posts saying similar things and that it could be due to stress, a possible UTI or infection, or of course pregnancy which has us both terrified. While on birth control her periods were regular and almost came at the same day every month and even going off of birth control they haven't been spot on like they used to be but close to it, however I should mention before her going on Birth Control her periods were irregular and she even missed months before. Also she has cloudy urine. If she doesn't have her period by the time she comes back from vacation tomorrow we plan to take a Pregnancy Test, will this test be accurate enough to give us peace of mind? Or will we have to take multiple? Could we be overthinking it and even delaying it further? Everytime we run through it in our heads there is no way she could be pregnant we have been very competent and safe since her going off the pill, checking the condom every time.
