Hi, I’m 23 Weeks Pregnant And Have Had Two Stitches

Hi, I’m 23 weeks pregnant and have had two stitches placed into my cervix due to having only .7cm length of cervix left with signs of funneling. I am doing good so far but was wondering why I haven’t been given steroids to help the baby just in case I go into labor before I’m able to get the stitches out at 36 weeks. My question is, should I be on steroids as a preventative measure? Also, if so how do I talk to my doctor about this concern of mine?
