Hi Dr Manjunath I Had A Copper IUD Inserted 5

Hi Dr Manjunath
I had a copper IUD inserted 5 weeks ago and am just finishing my first period with it. I am cramping all the time and the pain is severe, mostly abdominal pain and pain in the lower back and legs resembling sciatica. I have been taking Nurofen and while it is working to a certain degree I cannot take more than 8 tablets a day. I am also feeling generally weak, lightheaded and most importantly, have a constant headache and muscle spasms in my arms and legs. I am a molecular biologist and know that it is necessary to decrease prostaglandins/COX 2 expressions (which Nurofen does in some way) but I am also looking for alternative therapies or more potent drugs. Would Celebrex be more appropriate do you think? Then would it appropriate to supplement it with DHA and/or antioxidants? Or perhaps some natural supplements like Triphala which you perhaps know from Ayurveda. I would be grateful for your thoughts.
