Hi Dr. I am a female, age 39. I have no history of respiratory issues/diseases. I am a non-smoker and always have been. I have a very suppressed immune system due to taking Imuran. I am also a registered nurse. Here's my issue. I've had a cough for about 2 weeks. Sometimes it's productive with yellow, green thick mucus and sometimes not. No fever. Infact, I've be asymptomatic . I feel fine. But the cough has been non stop. I had a chest x ray. Waiting on the results. Going to have a CBC soon. My cough is AWFUL. It's rhonchi with inspiratory/expiratory wheezing. I'm not SOB. What the heck is this? Walking pneumonia? Bronchitis? I am a very bad patient. I had my doctor do a chest x ray but no one seems to be too concerned with this. Can I get your opinion? Thank You!
