Hi. A Patient Went To The Clinic, Had Crushing Injury

Hi. A patient went to the clinic, had crushing injury to the left hand. On xray, he had open transverse fracture of the index finger. On examination, the patient can flex all finger but was in pain. Sensory was intact. There are also avulsions on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th finger. Alhough on thr 4th digit, there was a metal ring that was stuck. The clinic dressed and suture the non complicated wound and suggested an ortho follow up. It took 6 hours from the time of injury before an orthopedic surgeon saw the patient. Is the injury still managable after six hours? What is the prognosis of this patient?
