Hello doctor, I'm suffering from anosmia.
I lost my smell completely and taste partial 2 weeks ago. I'm unable to smell anything. With this, a very bad smell is coming in the nose like rotten eggs.
I also searched myself about the problem. I think it is nasal polyps or congestion or inflammation in the nose.
I don't have any other symptoms but the only smell and taste loss.
When can I get the smell back? I'm frightened hearing from people it takes longer time like weeks months or even years. Currently, I'm doing breathing exercises, inhalant capsule steaming, taking vitamins, and kadha.
Pls, suggest medications to reduce inflammation or get over the problem.
