Iam a 14 yr old girl. I weigh about 79kg and I'm on holiday taking paludrine/avloclor. I have to take one and a half of paludrine each day as it says on the box. (because I'm fourteen) and it says I have to take the avloclor (one and a half) on the same day each week. I have been taking these doses for about a month. And have had loss of appetite and excessive heart beating on one occasion and I wanted to know if I'm allowed to discontinue my doses. My family are telling me not to take it because it can ruin my liver and kidneys. I'm also in a highly malarious country so now I'm confused in what to do. Ps: have missed a couple of doses about a week ago. Can anything happen if I miss a dose. And I don't take the tablet on the exact time everyday like I'm supposed to. NEED ADVICE! Is it safe to take these tablets for about 11 weeks?
