Hello doctor, I am experiencing soreness in my breasts, which is common before my period. It is due in the middle of this month. However, my nipples have been staying erect and sore, which is very uncommon for me. I recently had a mole removed along the sternum area, under the curve of my right breast. I have been cleaning the wound and applying polysporin to the area, as directed. It finally looks almost healed. During this time, I did not want an underwire bra rubbing the healing area, so even though I usually wear a D cup bra with support, for the last week I have been wearing a sports bra. I think this might have something to do with it but I am scared it might be something more serious. I do not think I am pregnant, I have had an IUD for four years. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to get my nipples to STOP being erect. Thank you for your help.
