Hello, My Husband Takes 50 Mg Of Tramadol (three Tablets

Hello, My husband takes 50 mg of Tramadol (three tablets each morning) as prescribed by his physician... he has been taking it for about 6 years and never seems to be "altered... stupored... or drugged" up

problem being he is in jail for a year and can go to work under a work release program, but they are requiring him to get off of this medication in order to go out of the facility. When he has been short of his pills in the past, he gets restless leg type symptoms... edgy... and jittery.... I am talking to our physician to see how to taper off... but am wondering what medicine might be a replacement for him to help with the degenerative lower-back pain. He is 70 yrs old and has always worked really physically hard and his back really bothers him. Apologies... I did not realize there was a fee... I will continue to find help through Jim's Dr. locally... and or our pharmacist. Than you for your time
