I've had the nexplanon inserted on january 12, 2016. everything was going great such as bruising and swelling went away. Its been a week and a halfI thought that it would be okay to exercise and that night before i went to bed my arm was throbbing where the implant was. I woke up the next day and it was swollen and hard. now, the scab came off of the insertion site and puss is coming out. is there a way that i can keep the implant in and just take antibiotics if there is an infection or would i have to remove the entire thing?
