Hello, I'm 49 Year Old Woman - Haven't Had Periods

Hello, I'm 49 year old woman - haven't had periods for 8 months, and for years my ferritin levels have been low. Now they are little better 10mg/l and my hemoglobin is ok, 12, I think. I get stomach aches and very easily bloated after eating any iron supplements. I've tried many brands. I don't eat red meat, but do eat fish/chicken/eggs. I'm normal weight and height (171cm and 133lbs)
Is it harmful or a risk factor for long term to have low ferritin levels?
Thank you in advance.
