Hello,

I slipped and fell in the rain a year ago. It was as if I was sliding in to first base but the base was a metal doorframe. Tje skin was a bit broken with minimal bleeding but swelled up like a balloon immmediately and I was wearing pants. Couldn'the put pressure on it for 24 hours but didnt see a doc until 3 months later. X-rays didn't show a break, perhaps I waited too long? Did 20 physical therapy sessions. Today, 1 year later, I still have pain...and a dent in my shin which hurts to touch. My knee, ankle, arch, and big toe even have pain. Should I see a different doc for a 2nd opinion (1 year later) even though the original diagnosis was shin splints and not broken?

Would love feedback so I can resort back to living an incredibly an active life like I had prior to slip & fall
