Hello, I just recently went to see my pop for a growth on my leg and a hard place deep in my belly button. She looked at my belly button and said all she could see was irritation and I told her you can see it but can feel it if you run something over which she would not do and told me to put antibiotic cream in there which I did and made it itchy and more irritated. It is like a hard scab but is now all the way around on the inside and it cannot be detached from the skin and has a lot of drainage. Now for the growth on my leg she numbed it and sliced the top off even to my skin and sent for biopsy. She burned and scraped out a lot. The results came back as invasive well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma deep and peripheral lateral tissue margins involved. She told me to watch it and if it grows back call, I told her it was already starting to grow back and she said to wait until it completely healed. Well I don't heal like normal people do and it can take months for something small to heal. I have other areas I feel need to be checked as well. I was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension 2 years ago, developed diabetes last year and have various different arthritic health diagnosis. I had to go back out on short term disability August of last year which was my 3rd time ever out on SD from work. When my sad ran out I was still not able to work so I was layer off. I have filed for permanent disability and is in the hearing stage but may be June 2016 before that happens. I have no income now no insurance and feel there is more going on with this cancer and I am at a loss what to do. Any suggestions?
