Hello,
I have had cervical and some inguinal lymphadenopathy for around 15 weeks, the one of right side of my neck is especially big, around 2cm. I also have left supraclavicular lymph node enlargement.
My lymph nodes had been coming up and going down after a few days when i would drink alcohol for the past 6-7 months. I went to my doctor when they came up 15 weeks ago and didnt get smaller within a few days as they normally would, i am also experiencing intermittent night sweats and fever, i get an occasional rash on my legs that can be seen, but my face and neck gets itchy at night with no visable cause, i keep getting, what i can only assume are boils, on the inside of my thighs, and cold sores on the regular which is uncommon for me. I have also lost some weight, and some days dont really have much of an appetite. Apart from this, i also noticed an ooze from my belly button, which i cleaned daily and used betadine, which seems to have cleared it up, and around 4 UTIs and thrush in the last 6 months. I am an otherwise healthy, 20 year old Female with mild Asthma.
After many blood tests i was told that i have toxoplasmosis. But upon the number of journal articles i have read, i can seem to grasp why a healthy 20 year old is experiencing the symptoms i have experienced for the last few months for such a common condition.
The only abonormalities in my blood test was a neutophil count of 1.4, and a WBC count of 3.9. This blood test was on the 1/4/15. I havent had another FBC since then. I tend to stress about things, mostly in this case because i just dont feel like myself.
I also had a CT, which i was told showed some pretty large lymph nodes throughout my body, but i havent seen a formal report for this to give any further info. Should i be concerned there is something more sinister going on?
