Hello. I have had a cyst on my back for several years. It has not troubled me except for the unsightly bump under my clothing. I have started exercising on a Total Gym Fit with a recumbant bike attachment.
Evidentlly, the exercising had irritated my cyst, because my first realization was of a constant pain. When I looked at it, I was shocked to see the cause of the pain was due to the cyst growing, very red and very angry.
It has been growing for about a week now. Tonight, as I was getting ready to retire, I was alarmed to see two white spots in all of the red of the angry cyst! It looks as though it could pop open!
I had called for an appointment with my dermatologist several days ago, but can't get in til the middle of next week. Now it is the weekend and I'm not sure this is going to wait til then. I'm afraid I'll have open sores on my back. I had knee replacement surgery in March, am recovered, but worry about infection.
