Hello.. I have been having health issues for an entire year now. I had mono back when I was younger and it started out as the same symptoms. I FINALLY got myself into the doctor last January when I was told that I had mono (later I found out the test results were read wrong to me and i DID NOT have mono again). I have been from doctor to doctor since then trying to find out what is wrong but ive been given no general idea yet. I have a really bad pain in my left side which was said to be my spleen but then i had a CT Scan done and was told that it was only mildly enlarged. The entire left side of my rib is sticking out and im in constant discomfort. It kind of feels like a small child is growing under my rib cage (although that's not possible). I also get pain in the left side of my middle back. It sort of feels like a spear stabbed through me from one side to another. I have enlarged lymph nodes which started just on the left side of the neck but now have multiplied all around. They aren't all that large but one is bigger than all the others. My doctor also felt a couple under my underarms as well. I am constantly tired and my neck and shoulders have felt very weak and sore. My throat becomes sore quite often as well, although I believe its from a lymph node creating pressure. I am not constantly itchy but once I begin to itch it will not stop for hours. I have also gone from 142 lbs down to 123 in the last three months. I have gone to a Gastro Intestinal dr, who sent me to the hematologist, who is now sending me to an Infectious Diseases dr... If nothing is found at the ID dr then back to the hematologist I go to have a biopsy done on my lymph node. I am under the belief that I have lymphoma because it is the only thing that fits and explains all of my symptoms. I know this is a loaded question, but does this sound like any other illnesses to you? I have tried to be so patient but its been a year and I'm not doing well in college because I am missing so much school from feeling so ill and for my doctors appointments. I just need a little guidance.
