Hello! I Have A Question Relating To IUDs And Color/consistency

Hello! I have a question relating to IUDs and color/consistency of menstrual blood. I have had the IUD Skyla for about 15 months. Last month my periods started changing. In August my period lasted two days and was brown in color the entire time. This month, I received my period today and had heavy, bright red blood this morning, but now later in the day it is very light and very pink in color. Is any of this cause for concern or should I consult my OBGYN? I should let you know that last month, about two days after my period ended, I had unprotected sex with my fiancé, so I was a bit worried with my last period that I was pregnant. I took two pregnancy tests two days ago (which would be 8 weeks after the unprotected sex -- we have used condoms ever since because of my concern) because this months period was late and I was having PMS symptoms such as cramping and bloating and still worried, so I took a test. Both tests showed a clear negative (I took one at night, and one again from my first bathroom trip of the morning). I am worried either there is a problem with the IUD or something else. I know it is supposed to change your period over a certain amount of time, so could it be that as well? Do you have any ideas, suggestions or advice? Thank You!!
