Hello. I Had A Coughing Fit A Little Over A

Hello. I had a coughing fit a little over a week ago, and once it passed I could feel a slight pain in my throat. Kinda like I had a lump in my throat that I just couldn't swallow, and it was a bit tender. I went to bed, assuming I had just pulled a muscle, and felt better in the morning. The same thing happened a few days later (after another coughing fit), only it didn't go away after I slept. My body kept wanting to swallow, but there was nothing to swallow. It wasn't very painful, just annoying. During a hot shower, I noticed a decent sized bulge in the very front of my neck. I was able to push on it, felt a 'click' of sorts (as though it moved back into place), and didn't have as much of an issue with it. Now, the back of my tongue feels a little swollen, has for a couple days. It isn't really swollen, but I can feel that lump move around. I did some research online, and am fairly sure it's my Hyoid Bone that shifted during my coughing fits, and now it isn't sure where it needs to be. Again, there's no pain, it's just not comfortable. Is there anything I can do to try and help it shift back into place, or do I need to go in to a doctor?
