Hello, I had a TIA last week, it left my left eye blurred, and now my face, neck and lips get numb on and off. a ct, mri and mra was done, the er and admitting dr say I had a tia but the neurologist said I did not have a tis and I am concerned with the findings of the mri w/o contrast. It states "scattered in the white matter of the cerebral hemispheres there are few foci of hyperintense signal on the FLAIR sequences. A total of 5 measuring 3mm in size, three of which are in the periventricular loacation. Four additional foci are identified that measure 2mm in the maximal dimension and is in the subcortical white matter of the front lobe. What does this all mean.....can you tell me anything about the finding so I know what questions to ask on my net appt? thanks so much
