Hello, I am on my 120th pill of levothyroxine 50mcg. I do not have insurance. I begged the doctor to prescribe the last 30 pills because i am afraid of what happens if i stop. they do not seem to have an effect on me. Is the only solution for hypothyroidism an RX pill. I have changed my diet, i drink green tea instead of coffee now. Very rarely do i ingest any sugar. White flour is hard to avoid on a daily basis. I need to know what to do when i run out of the pills because i no longer have insurance or a job that affords blood tests and refills.
