Hello, I am on here as a last resort, at my doctors appointment today (with a new doctor) I paid $150 just as my copay to get back on mediation for adhd. (I was diagnosed YEARS ago and been on medication for it on and off since I was young.) When I met with him he told me he wanted a full psych eval, a blood test, and all my previous doctors records before he would think about treating me! I guess people are abusing it like crazy now and he 'doesn't just hand it out'. I totally understand that. Except, I've BEEN diagnosed and on it for YEARS! I'm a healthy 26 year old mother of 3 and a homeowner! NOT a drug seeker! All the tests he wants will cost me hundreds and I just don't have that! Please help me figure out what my opinions are.
