Earlier this week I got a small cut on the tip of my elbow. The next day it got slightly infected. I drained it and used Niosprin with a bandaid for 2 days. The day after I took the bandaid off it was healing nicely but I noticed a lump at my cubital node. The skin was swollen, hot in the affected area and very painful to the touch. Since I don't have ins I decided to just watch it. Yesterday it was even more swollen and had red blotches. It was also very painful and hot to the touch. This morning I woke up and it had shrunk, wasn't hot and very little pain. Tonight it is again hot to the touch, slightly swollen and red, and slight pain. I was worried at first that I may have gotten a staph infection from the small cut. I have been congested for a few days and tonight I presented with a low grade fever and I'm achy. What do you think I should do?
